Which injectors do you want? The 1200cc injectors or the 1300cc injectors that were too large?

I'm keeping the new 1200cc injectors, but the 1300cc injectors that were too big are yours if you want them.

You could have got new 850's for $100ea and then bored them out for $350/pair. This is what RC recomends. If they still do used ones, I don't think they warraty them. I got Power Enterprise ones but I beleive Blitz makes them as well. From what i've read our spray pattern is strait, so boring them out shouldn't create a spray pattern issue. RC won't go higher then 1300 as I requested 1350's. I think mine were like 1298 and 1302 or something like that. I would request a resolution from the seller if possible. All RC injectors are shipped with a flow rate on the eceipt.

I was thinking more along the lines of sending the originals back to RC and letting them check them out. I mean they did the work, it has their stamp on it, they should fix them or do a new set for me whether I bought them from someone else or not.

Give them a call before they close today and they can look up the buyer by his name. They most likely need that info for warranty. Mine were only stamped with #'s (1,2,3,4). I don't remember if they put their initials nor RC Eng on them.

Actually mine have numbers and letters on them.

SNGX 1300 is what they are stamped, which I was told is an RC Stamp. Not sure to be honest

FWIW, my 1200s flowed 1120cc and 1110cc at 85%, and flowed 1580cc and 1590cc at 100% (unexpected!).

Using "1200" for the secondary injector size in my PFC yielded 9.xx AFRs (was tuned to 11.5 AFR with 850s before I upgraded). Entering "1500" matched my previous AFRs.

Wow.... so I guess there is quite a bit of room for error. The 1200's I have now flowed 1350 and 1380 and 100% duty cycle, which isn't too bad. Funny though for "1200cc injectors"

I'll never push these past 85% (I did the math) and if I do, I'll be putting my 850's in the primary spot anyway. I guess I'll just have some tuning ahead of me.

Bringing this back from the dead because I just received 1300cc RC-stock-850cc-bored injectors back from WitchHunter and they too were well over 1300cc. One was 1536cc and the other was 1556cc. The stock 850s I sent at the same time were pretty much spot on (850cc and 858cc).

I bought these used several years ago and have no idea of their provenance, but the markings do look like the standard RC ones. Interestingly, they are within 1.3% of each other so it is hard to attribute the oversized rates to sloppy boring.

Anybody have any deep thoughts?

I do--I experienced this same problem on an older set of SNGX-1300's. I contacted RC when I discovered the discrepancy (about 3 yrs ago) and they fixed them.

As it was explained to me, their early 1300's achieved their extra flow by an increase in the LIFT of the plunger within the injector (leaving the bore stock). Apparently, a shim that regulated said travel would compress with use and result in unexpectedly higher flow rates. The repaired 1300's as well as new ones are now bored (and not stroked, so to speak) and so I was assured they are not problematic as were the earlier units.

i used to have my 1300 modified secondaries (stock 850), i sent them to be cleaned and tested so that I could sell them, at the same time i had my new(used) 1600's cleaned and flow tested, the 1300s flowed just as much as the 1600's. KG Parts Injector Rehab performed the work, they said it is quite common, but the 1600's are a better choice because they would be more reliable.
