Was emailing with him this morning, getting parts for a friend's rebuild. Email is usually the best way to get in contact.

I've had a hard time getting him on the phone as well recently, he is one busy dude. We really need to send our Yoda a young padawan for training...... once he hits the century mark ol' Ray plans to hang 'em up

For some reason it feels like its an rx7 oem parts speakeasy. You gotta be in the know to hear about him.

Then id imagine first time a new person is tring to contact him they are probably like is this random guy with an aol email address legit or not ? Lol

Dale, my old Sequoia Redwood Tree 7 foot tall FD buddy----- thanks for posting that picture. Check this bad boy out from the Good Ol' days when we held the Chris Carlisi Memorial Meet (Ray bought Chris' Mandeville-built 20B GT42R FD for those unaware):

 

Funny story, I used to live in Northern Virginia and took my friend to Koons Hyundai so he could buy a car. I pulled up to drop him off in my FD and a couple of the seasoned salesmen lost their mind when I showed up. They started telling me about how Ray used to work in this building and it used to be Malloy Mazda and he had an Rx-7 he would drive to work and a three rotor he drove on the weekends.

Kinda crazy to see people outside of the rotary community know about him.

 

Has anyone sourced a NEW 13B-REW short block from him? I'm curious about how it would compare price wise to the other options out there.

 

4900+shipping ordered from him in May. Prices could be different now.

There are now 2 Ray Crowe threads within days of each other plus lots of posts on FB asking where to get parts.
I'm tempted to sticky this but I suspect people will just ignore the thread if I do.
