Angry ran 11.8 they said i needed a driveshaft loop???

I went to the track last weekend. Teched for 12's the inspector gave me a hard time about a drive shaft loop. Has anyone had problems with this I don't see any place to mount a driveshaft loop. On a good note I ran an 11.8 @ 114. I had to use e.t. streets to get traction

I have stock twins, pfc, apex'i intake, staight exhaust with gt spec cat back .91 bar

Thats a asome ET for that mph!!! You must have been cutting some 1.6x so foot times!!!

Congrats, I definatly need some ET streets lol

On a side note why do you already have a roll cage??? Not that its a bad thing just that I dont know any drag racers running 114 and spending $ for a roll cage.

To answer your question...or attempt to. My understanding is you dont need a drive shaft loop till your break into the 10's according to nhra(I think anyway), BUT every track is different and can make thier own rules. My local track doesnt give a ****, if your not running 9's they dont even look over your car....they just make sure your not running the a/c and getting watter on the track haha

Your "supposed" to have a drivershaft loop when you are in the 13's. A rollcage is required for an 11.99 or quicker.

Hmmm, well I dont know maybe I was thinking of a clutch scatter shield, it has been a LONG time since I read the rule book. As a matter of fact it might have even changed since then. I dont have to worry about passing tech around here, hell I'm in Alabama lol

I'm trapping 125 and dont have anything other than stock saftey. I figure whats the difference, I hit 125 every day on the interstate.

Alright maybe it's just me, but I'm a little confused. In your first post you said you had Apexi intake, and a PFC. In your sig it says you have a blitz intake and XS Tuned ECU? Is the XS tuned ECU your PFC that you had tuned by XS? Also you stated a bunch of other mods in your sig that weren't in your first post like the blitz FMIC, HKS Twin power, denso fuel pump etc...Not trying to flame...just trying to get things clear.

I ran that time with the my freinds PFC. The car runs alot better with the PFC than my XS ECU, the cross over from primary to secodary comes on alot harder and alot faster. I forgot to update some things from my first post, sorry about confusing everybody. I am trying to get the pics of my cage up ASAP.

P.S. I am in AZ dont need high trap just good 60ft!!!!

Yea, I'm still running the BNR stage 3 turbos. I've actually been on quite a bit though? I guess I just dont start a lot of threads. For some reason I tend to migrate over to the single turbo and rotary performance sections more. But anyway, I've been around, I prob sign on the forum twice a day or so.

And yea, I was pretty damn excited when I got 125, I was also coming off the line super soft cause I was scared of the diff and shifting mad slow yo haha. I think with some hard driving I'll be more like 126 or MAYBE 127

All on pump gas too!!!!

Sorry to get the thread off topic
