Ok, I know a few people out their have different din mounted gauges and controllers.
My question is where are you getting them?

I want a black one that I can use to mount the profec B and maybe the wide band.

A search got me to two people that well dont seem to make them any more.

 

I bought my 3 gauge din panel at www.egauges.com

The have it listed as a VW din panel. I don't remember which model VW it fits.

 

is that a stock shift **** if so its in really good conditoin lol. And if you bought it where did you get it?

I really like how it snaps into place unlike some other products that require double sided tape. Also a plus that it comes with blanks to fill the empty holes if you aren't running all three gauges yet.

Nice! Now only if it was solid with the clips where I could make my own cut out.

It has to be one of those three gauge panels. I don't remember which one, as I installed at about 5 years ago.

 

It is a stock shift ****. I got it new from Mazda Motorsports about 2 years ago.

you could buy that one adam posted about get you a small piece of abs plastic and some of the black abs plastic cement and fill the hole. Sand it down throw some paint on it then cut out the shape you need. Its how I did my a/c stero panel to fit 5 gauges, boost controller, and a/f display.

If you can't find any of the plastic in small quantities I think I may have a chunk of it around here somewhere. The cement you can find just about any hardware store like lowes.

Nice thing about the abs plastic cement is it actually eats into the abs plastic to make the bond so there is no worry of it popping lose or peeling up.

I have some black plastic that I made my radio trim from, we can make one from that .

 

Auxilliary gauges are fine for DIN mounting, but important gauges that you refer to while under full steam (like boost) should really be in the line of sight somewhere.

I'm going to have to disagree with that. Once your car is tuned, you should rarely have the need to look at your boost gauge. A very occasional glance to see that it isn't overboosting is plenty.
