radio and a/c electrical problem

my first post. my 94 red rx has seen better days. new engine in 2001. recently, the radio turns on intermittently. also, when the radio decides to turn on, a/c will blow cold, otherwise, the a/c just blows air. when the radio cuts out, the a/c just blows air again.

I don't know if it matters, but the antenna's motor cable broke a while back too (antenna is stuck half-way up!)....

If someone could please help or comment, I would really appreciate it. Thanks folks.

Pete

I would look at the grounds.

Although, mine was a bit of a different story, that seemed to fix it.

Thanks for the advice. Are you speaking of the main ground from the battery, or is there a specific ground that might be for only these two components...?
