Radiator question

I noticed when installing my intakes that my radiator as a thin piping coming out from the bottom. Does anyone know if it's just a outlet that is supposed to be capped off or is there a hose connecting it to somewhere else. Stock radiator for a 93 Rx7

What's the diameter? Probably the nipple for the AST.

Attached is a picture of a new stock radiator (note: for an automatic transmission car). Do you see this "piping" on it?

Yes the nipple in on the bottom of the radiator in the picture. If you follow the letter "I" from the box going straight down to the bottom.
