Radiator plug stripped

Got my Koyo today and I wanted to change it and found out my radiator plug is pretty much stripped.... any ideas of how to get it off to flush the radiator?

Btw... my Koyo says "KOYORAD" on it and it says made in Indonesia... did i recieve a genuine Koyo?

Hah, just happened to me recently. If it's stripped really bad you can always just use an hobbyist's exacto knife and keep piercing thru the middle of the plastic plug (it starts out tough but softens eventually) until you get a an opening size of a nail/screw (there is nothing on the other side of plug other than volum/space). Next, find a durable wire (clothes hanger) and make a minor "hook" at the end by bending it completely 180 degrees and just simply stick into the hole you made in the drain plug and pull down via hook. The OEM drain plug is a screw/threaded type but it's still possible to pull it down.

Oh...before you start, make sure coolant is totally cool....place a drain catcher or bucket underneath when you do this...coolant will begin to spew as hole gets bigger.

If you mean the plastic plug were the screwdriver fits you can drill it and use an easy out from the parts store.

another trick is to get a flat screwdriver with a wide head, heat it up enough to melt plastic and poke the plug with it. It should make a slot the perfect size for your screwdriver. If it still doesnt work, just drill it out.
