radiator hose melting?????
I recently have had a little trouble with coolant lose, i pressuse tested the system and no leaks were found, although today while trouble shooting i found that theres a leak or rip on the radiator hose going to the rad, its looks like maybe it was pinched because of its short distance between the hose and the intercooler, for those of you out there with the greddy smic have you had this problem with the radiator hose? and do you guys think if i put a thermal wrap around the rad. house or intercooler pipe it will prevent this?

yea do what he said, no way can you melt a rad hose and your motor still be running. Padding the IC would probably work the best IMO but do what ya think will be easiest for you

yea iam definitly replacing the rad. hose i was just looking for a solution so its doesn't happen again, because of the way the bottem of the greddy smic is it will be near impossible to re-route the rad.hose, ill take a look at it tonight to double check, but either back off the hose a 1/2 inch or padding the intercooler sounds like a possible solution. also, would a samco hose be a bit more durable than your avergae rad. hose?
