Radiator Fan Help
I have research my latest problem with only minor success.
1. The radiator fans worked flawless 4 weeks ago on my 94 FD.
2. The car sat for about 3 weeks.
3. Started the car and decided to check the engine before going for a spin. I noticed the radiator fans did not turn on.
4. Turned on the A/C ... still no fans.
5. Reduced temperature on PFC to 80C...still no fans.
6. Checked each fan motor and both fans are working.
7. Jumped relay #2 and both fans come on.
8. Switched around relays.......still no fans.
I don't think the relays are bad because I switched them around in each position. Now I'm thinking either thermoswitch or ECU signal.
Do all fan operations, including turning on the A/C need a working thermoswitch?
Anyone have a quick way to check to see if it is the signal from the ECU..one solve my problem.
BTY..I'm really getting not to like this car....sometimes......not really......okay I take it back, I still love it.
