Radiator, AST question

Somebody told me a while ago that, buying a aftermarket radiator would eliminate the need to get a AST bypass kit?? I ordered my Koyo radiator yesterday and want to know if I still need to purchase a M2 Ast bypass kit??

I would reccomend the ASI Racing AST. Its made out of billet aluminum, while the Pettit AST is made out of regular aluminum. The ASI AST is thicker, and is less prone to be bent. Just my .02

I would keep your AST. The Koyo will not eliminate your need for it and if anything, I would argue that you will need it more with that radiator in the stock location. The Koyo radiator is twice the size of the stock one and has more surface area and interior fluid space. This extra space has the potential for holding more air while filling. Without your AST, the air is less likely to excape properly and will cause you problems.

Jst my 2 cents on the matter.
