Racing Video - a new old one :-) - NASA Nationals 07
Great Video Damian!!! I love it when you post these! Good luck in 2009 and I look forward to seeing some more videos.
I know! It was dang loud and seemed to be pretty quick. I wonder what he is running in it?

Nice video work! I think a camera for behind is a decent idea as well, but not sure what there would be to see besides little specs in the distance! Nice driving, the vette seemed to be a bit of a challenge but you managed to setup him up nicely.
Damian has a full race car so unless your planning to build a race car, I don't think his specs are too important except for curiosity. I'm curious too, I'm just saying. Experience is one of the bigger factors at the track and car setup second.

he has a Apec 500r turbo, although this video might of been his previous set up(R85 if I remember correctly). He changed it sometime in 2007, not sure when. I think he runs somewhere between 12-14lbs of boost. Coilovers are JIC A2's. As far as fuel, search Damian's threads, there is a write up on his fuel kit. As thewird has said, I would suggest driving on the track alot before doing too many mods. I will be the first to tell you that the largest limiting factor on my car is the driver(me).
about time...hahaha
I was at this race and have been waiting on the video ever since! I was a bit bummed to not see you at the nationals this year, and unfortunately if you're not coming to Mid Ohio for a regional or national in 09 I likely won't get to see the car again.
I know you have since switched to a T5 setup, but was anything done to your stock transmission in that video? It seemed to shift pretty well, especially for handling that power level.

I NEED to get back to mid-O, I know i can pull 3 or 4 seconds off my times with more time on track and better driving... not to mention a few car setup tweaks :-)
that vid it was just the stock trans, no mods, shifts great until teeth sheer off the gears :-) lol
