Racing Beat Dual Tip for $49 ??

I saw an auction for a RB single tip on ebay from a place called Importwholesale1. I emailed them and asked if they had dual tips, and the guy writes me back and says yes they have them in stock, for $49, plus $22 shipping, plus $3 insurance. Does this sound right? The original auction was for a black muffler with a chrome tip.

At the RX7 store, the RB dual is $500, so what gives? Would this be the same muffler, but in black versus chrome? And would it drop the price THAT dramatically?

If the performance is the same, I think I can live with Black versus chrome for the $450 savings- you really only see the tips anyway.

Thanks for info in advance.

David

I know the one on ebay was not a cat-back system...only a muffler. So I am not sure what the regular price is for a dual tip muffler, but $49 sounds pretty crazy.

Anything deal like that, that makes you think it's too good to be true, is probably a scam. It's probably some cheap generic can muffler knock-off.

I'd stay away from that deal...smells like a scam to me.

Sort of a scam. I wrote the guy and said send info, pics, etc. and is it a RB or what. He wrote back and said No it's another brand but it fits!

Gimme a break.

What a jerk-off, "No it's another brand but it fits".

Anything too good to be true, usually is. You almost ALWAYS get what you pay for.
