I'll be redoing all the exhaust after track season ends right now thinking about crazy things to do. Currently leaning towards a side exhaust, yes there is room and yes its radical.

I have a Magnaflow muffler on my setup. Here's a video of it, however read the description (crappy camera).
However, now my setup is a 2nd Gen header and new cat leading up to this muffler, so now my setup is a little bit deeper and nicer sounding. Also, that loud "whirr'ing" noise you hear at high RPM is my old stock clutch-fan setup. Now that I got dual e-fans, I don't hear that anymore, either.
