R1 question

hey guys i was wondering if the R1 shock and springs will lower a touring FD ???

are R1 FD's lower than a touring FD????

im not sure on that but i know for a fact that they are stiffer...

1. The springs aren't stiffer, the rebound rate on the dampers is different on the R1.

2. This topic was already discussed and is searchable. It won't lower the car.

Do both the shocks and springs differ? Because someone told me that it was just the dampeners. Of course he's a fool and there's a handy search button to my upper right...
