R1 Lip VS 99 Lip

This is probably a stupid thread, ive done some searching and the pictures arent their anymore. Can somebody post up a side by side difference of the two. Thats all im interested in.

Thanks rynberg, i now know which to go with.... And are they paintable? The 99 is what im referring. I always see some that are painted to match the car.

You'll have to use flexible paint. I also think body color lips look like ***.

Personal taste aside, they take a beating from rocks, curbs and parking stops and that black plastic will show through. There's a reason MAZDA left them black.

I ran a 99 lip on a 93 bumper for years. the fitment is 95% fine.....there are 2 small pieces that stick out a bit, that's the only way you can discern any kind of 'off' fitment. I thought it looked good, was a nice change from my R1 lip *shrug*

I ran a 99 lip on my 95 front...I love the front view, side and rear looking forward annoyed the **** out of me. I now have a R2 lip.
