R1 lip on 99 front bumper?

I just purchased a '99 front bumper. Anyone put the R1 lip on that style bumper? Any pics? Just curious how it looks before I purchase a '99 lip. My R1 lip is only 2 months old!

I've got a 99 lip on my 94 bumper but I've never been a big fan. I wish there was an inbetween lip spoiler. Somewhere between the R1 lip and the 99 spec. To me the 99 spec just looks too big. Putting the feed sideskirts on helped but I still think the 99 spec lip is just too big looking. I know I'm probably one of the only people that think this way so flame on...

And before anyone asks why I have one then, I'll explain. I bought the RE 99 bumper without the plate but decided to just stick with the stock bumper. I sold the 99 bumper but not the lip. I didn't have an R1 lip so I just threw the 99spec lip on instead of selling it. It's growing on me but still not what I'd consider the best option.

I have to agree. I've never been a fan of swapping lips between years. The only FD I've seen that I liked with the 99 spec lip on the 93-98 bumper was KaiFD3S car and I believe it was the Feed sideskirts were what made it work.

IMO, the 99 lip makes the 93-95 front end look much more agressive, but i still love the rounded off look the R1 lip gives too.

Regarding the topic on hand, just go with a 99 spec lip. It was made for the bumper and will complement it very well. Not only would an R1 lip not fit, but it would probably make the car look kind of odd. But thats just my opinion.

If you already have a 99 bumper, just get the 99 lip. That's what its made for.

I used to have the R1 lip on my original bumper, but I wanted something more agressive, so I go the 99 lip. When I put the 99 lip on, it was nice, but did not fit as well as I'd hope. Since the lower edge of the 99 bumper is not exactly the same as the 93 bumper, the fitment was not great. So, I got the 99 bumper haha
