R1 bar on a Touring effect?
I changed tires to 235/45R17 front and 265/40R17 rear and have a pretty good mid turn push now (too much rear tire).
I am also putting in Tokico adjustables this week so I hope to tweak it a little with the dampers.
My question is has anyone put in the R1 rear bar on a Touring and what was the handling effect? Much more neutral or only a little?
Thanks for the feedback!

i've wrapped mine with duck tape on my '94 touring and have noticed a significant increase in performance. i hot-glued a couple popsicle sticks to the toe links as well and immediately noticed a HUGE difference in the turns.
my next project will include adding some STP stickers to the rear bumper for at least an additional 15HP as well as an increase in downforce for my TOP END power drives.

Something doesn't jive here. After looking at the part numbers for a 94 Touring and R1, the parts ARE different. It appears to me that the rear bar is 1mm larger, no? The FARB is the same though.
That larger R1 RARB should make the car more neutral but how much?
7_Heaven, thanks for the constructive additions. Can I get some of those STP stickers if they work without screwing up the ride? Thanks so much.

You guys are agreeing with each other. If the 93 bars are thicker, it will make the back end stiffer, which will remove the "push" you are talking about. I thought the back could use more grip, but I guess that's just me.
You might want to request to move this to the suspension/tires/brakes forum or just ask there. They should be able to help you
