As well as The Ancient Words and a few others. He and Eric Cheat-ham have had about 17 screen names each, for very different reasons though. Mark stirs up religious debates (not a big deal in my book) and Eric (lupe) sells people shitty parts and rips them off/becomes involved with scam shops.

*sigh*

actually I'm thinking too much about the topic, you're the stubborn little teenager

when I make a modification to the car (I have a touring FD) I don't just slap something on there because everyone else is doing it, or for show

imo, street suspension is too soft and the tires don't grip well enough to see much of a benefit from a strut bar....I guess I wouldn't say there is absolutely no benefit, but I think it's negligible (unless you are running ultra stiff suspension and race compound tires on the street)

it's also amazing how one person will say it makes a HUGE difference and others will say it's barely noticeable, there are so many factors that go into this

No questions, just an answer:

At this point, 79 % of the people who have voted disagree with you.

I agree with you that the stock suspension is pretty soft. Some people don't want a rock hard race suspension in a car that they drive around town. Rough roads can make for a miserable bone jarring ride. I also agree that a strut bar won't make a huge difference on the street. When I installed my bar I could feel a nice improvement in the front end. It was much more solid when pushed in corners. Maybe some people won't notice the difference. With many years of racing experience, I did notice a difference.

So, conveniently, the few that see things your way are right, and the vast majority don't know what they are talking about? I think you just insulted a lot of people.

Any other suggestions?
There seem to be 2 types of RH strut-tower brackets - one with slotted bar attachment holes made for the non-adjustable bar, and one with non-slotted bar attachment holes for the adjustable bar. Apparently, you have a non-adjustable bar with a RH bracket (no slot) made for the adjustable bar.

Yup, live and learn I suppose. My apologies to both baja and dave, it appears they were mixed up. I know that the LH (driver's side) is specific to the adj/non-adj, but I never noticed a difference among the RH one. I spoke to Ray at Malloy and he lists only 1 part # for each side.....

Rich is sending me a RH bracket w/o the slot. When I get it, I'll send him the slotted one I now have back, and maybe you (bajaman) can trade w/ him for a slotted one.

Thanks, again, Rich, for sorting this out. I really appreciate your help.

Dave
