quick question about bypass valves
I have 2 bypass valves which should be connected to my intakes. my car is twin turbo and i have an apex'i bov. one of my bypass valves is cheaply sealed off, and the other one is totally left open.. is this safe?? i'm going to be buying new intakes soon and i'm going to take to a mechanic to see if he can do anything about the bypass valves. the car is running very strong, but i want to get this figured out before i take the drive down to las vegas for autofest. please help!

First you don't have 2 BYPASS VALVES. You have 1 blow off vlave and the other one is a CRV (forgot what it stands for) The one in the front is the BOV and the one in the rear is the CRV. The crv need to get vented to the intake or to the astmophere. The BOV is the same way. If you leave the CRV vented to the open air you car will sound like a vacuum cleaner. Sorry if I miss spell anything but I'm working wiht one blurry eye right now.

Some people leave them vented to atmosphere because (they like there cars to sound like a vacuum cleaner) and sometimes you'll even get a goose sound comming out from under the hood.
