Quick Question?

I have found a 94 RX-7 for $13,400. The Car has 68K on the Chasy and 5K on the re manufactured Turbo, Engine and a new clutch. I had the owner do a compression test and the results were 90, 90, 90 PSI on both the rotors. Does this sound like a decent buy?

Please advice..

i remember reading somewhere on the board about the compression of the motor should be close to 100. im not sure if 90 is close enough or not. if the motor itself hasnt been rebuilt i would be a little worried about the apex seals. the search on the board should lead youto some great compression related posts.

although the compression number is important...it is even more important that all three faces of the motors compression are equal. In this case they are.

I think this engine sounds decent.
