Quick Q: Removing A-Pillar

I'm sure this is a quick thing and I wanna make sure I do this right before I start breaking stuff..

I'm getting ready to mount up the Autometer a-pillar gauge pod and obviously I gotta take off the a-pillar. Do I just grab and yank to take it off or is there anything else I have to do??

I've got replacement A-pillars that I will be using to hold the gauge pod so that I leave my current a-pillar in it's nice stock shape.

Thanx

Start at the top, and pull. Have a flathead screwdriver handy-when you get some space between the pillar and the cover, slide the screwdriver in there and leverage up on the a-pillar cover til you start hearing some "pop"s. Work your way down, then when you get to the bottom, the thing should slide up and out.
