in the diagram, coming from the "relief 1" solenoid valve are two baby blue lines that i have marked with black dots...and red dots. Right now i have everything ripped out in regards to the hoses and solenoids, however it seems my current setup bypasses the solenoid...? The ends of the baby blue lines go to the LIM and the pressure regulator from the solenoid. HOWEVER, from what i see on my car is that there is only one hose that goes directly from the pressure regulator to the LIM. Is this ok to be like this?

You mixed up the Solenoids. That is the FPR solenoid. The next one down is Relief 1.
