URASS, if you search this section you will find many answers to all of those questions.
The R1/R2 is nice because it has dual oil cooler, but if you want a sunroof & leather you much go Touring/PEP.

The first thing I would suggest is that you search on this forum for terms such as "buying a rx7" or something, you'll find a lot of posts there.
But to answer your question without too much detail. What's wrong with a car depends on the car, there are cars with nothing wrong with it and then cars with everything wrong with it, so in that regard this is like any other car.
You must be mindful of the rotary engine for sure. But there are more things involved in looking at a used car.
There are 3 common models, base, touring and R1. There is also R2 and PEP Package. The colors are Vintage Red, Silver, Black, Montego Blue and Competition Yellow Mica. If you see any other color, it's a re-paint.
Base is, well, base. It doesn't come with leather, no sunroof, no CD player, and so on.
Touring in the middle, it comes with leather, sunroof, CD player, Bose Acoustive Wave thingy, cruise control.
R1 is the sport version, it comes with special cloth seats, two oil coolers, siffer springs, no cruise control, no Bose, a rear wing, front lip.
R2 is a variation of the R1 that was only available in 95.
I'm not sure, but I think the PEP was available in all 3 (93-95) years of production..
There are by far a large number of '93s, a good number of '94s and not that many '95s.
Price of the car not only depends on the mileage, but also the year. a '93 with about 50k will easily go for about $17k.
A '94 with the same miles will go for more and a '95 even more.
It's tough to generalize on a number, as a lot of things go into the price.
But please do some searches and you will get a LOT more information.
