Question for tuners
My car has been tuned richly at 6000ft of altitude but i will be bringing it down to houston for a car meet and track weekend. I am wondering if the car will need to be retuned for the trip or if it will be good in its current setting.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The tune itself does not need to be changed as 10 pounds of boost at sea level is the same as 10 pounds of boost at 6,000 ft read by the map sensor. However, your boost may go up naturaly as the turbo doesn't have to work as hard to generate the pressure so thats the only thing you really need to keep an eye on.

^^True statement. NA cars have more tuning issues than boosted cars. But as noted above you will probably need to readjust your boost controller.
I moved from 8500ft back down to ~900ft and only needed to adjust my EBC. Have fun at the track!
**Edit. I will add I am definately NOT a tuner. I am just going off of the personal experience noted that my car did not require any retuning.
