Unhappy Question on recurring problem with FD33

I have a 93 Touring edition RX-7 that I bought about a 2 months ago. While driving it today the check engine light came on & it began to 'choke' during moderate to heavy acceleration. Almost like it wasn't getting enough gas. I was able to continue on the 5 minutes to my house by accelerating very slowly. the engine was running smoothly, good oil pressure, & was not overheating. I let the car sit for a while & checked to see if anything visible had fallen off, but could not find anything. I started it back up & the check engine light did not come back on & it accelerated fine. You guys seem like a knowledgeable bunch, so I'm hopeful that you can shed some light on this for me. Thanks in advance..ME.

You'll need to see what the engine codes were. Go to this link to see how to pull the codes:

I doubt its the MAP sensor if you were able to start up the car and accelerate fine.
