Question Question on Non-seq

Well, I am about to install a new FPD to fix my leaky one. While I'm at it I figured I would go non-seq seems how I have to take the UIM off anyways. I have a set of block off plates and some new vacuum hose and resistors, so I should be set. But my question is I don't have the time to take off the turbos (my 7 is a dd) so is it ok to do the full non-seq but set the turbos up the poormans way (wire open) until I can get a chance to remove them?

Probably a stupid question but I can't seem to find any info on people running it this way.

Also last thing, does anyone have any usefull tips on going non-seq?

Thanks,
Mitch

If your sequential is working fine, i would leave it that way. I really can't stand non-seq. Especially if you don't do it the right way (meaning full non-seq, which involves taking twins off) you won't get full boost by 4k or even 4200.

that's just my opinion.

yeah, i have the full non seq conversion and let me tell you for dd its not that great..i mean if you dont mind losing normal city pace with some of the slowest cars on the planet, then by all means do it..

but it sucks when you have geo metros beating you off the line and the only way for you to catch up is if you rev pass 4500 (thats where my boost starts)..

on the highway its great though

well... Im not worried about any lag or I wouldnt be considering doing the mod. Also soon my 7 wont be my dd so its not a big deal. And the only reason I will not be doing the 'Full' non-seq is because of time limitations. Once I have more time I will finish it off. This dam fuel smell is driving me crazy and I need to diagnose it. So I figured while I'm in there I might as well no non-seq.
