question for guys who changed their FD steering wheel

I've found a few nice wheels that I want, but have not found any adaptors for the FD. What adaptor did you guys use to mount an aftermarket wheel? I don't care about loosing the cruise control or any of that crap.
Thanx

i dont unerstand why you need this adapter. unless i have mistaken, the only reason for this is for the airbag light not to go off. all you need to do is pull some wires from under the dash, and pull out the dummy light for the airbag. you save $150!

maybe i have mistaken? what is the purpose of the adapter??

to avoid some "minor fitting required".

no fitting requirement needed, 2nd gen adapter works just fine (in particular tII from 90). might have to modify adapter but thats it. worked for me, air bag light is on to lazy to unplug bulb.

Steering Wheel Replacement

Mazdaspeed hub is worth the $150.00. Makes for a seamless installation and eliminates the air bag light and is also pre-wired for your horn. Don't do it the hillbilly way, buy the hub adapter. Try Derrick @ www.Corksport.com.
