If you live in Arizona, I would not consider a front mount, as it blocks air flow to the radiator. I'd go with a large stock mount or if you've got the money a V-mount.

Yeah I had some overheating problems with the Greddy FMIC and Koyo radiator. It shouldn't be a big problem if you've got your stock fans and underbelly pan though. But I didn't at first so there were some issues. Front mounts are a lot of work, basically just for the cool look. Stock mount is definately easier. Evan

its not for a cool look its for very low intake temps and no heatsoak in the engine bay
it also frees up a lot of room and makes things much cleaner

if you're overheating you have a problem with your cooling system. ive never seen above 88 water temps running the fan mod with a greddy 3 row. usually my water temps are right at 83 which is almost too cold.

How is boost response with a FMIC over a stock mount though? I live in Washington state, so Im not worried about heat...but with longer intake pipes, do you feel slightly more lag?

The lag is up for debate, I would think so but I'm heard that if you are coming from a stock IC that you wont notice it since the stocker was so restrictive....

I live in FL so the heat concerns bother me, and I have a Koyo.... I may reconsider once I've done the fan mod and have the 99+ fans.
