question of all questions???????

ok one day i was in traffic, the car did not over heat but the motor cut off, didnt know why, so i took the motor out cuz it was my first time and i had time at that point, so the motor had been sitting out for like 3 months with no fluids obviously in it, and when i crank it over one of the apex seals looks in perfect condition but i dont hear the suction as much in it, could it be that the apex seal is stuck inside the rotor and needs to be oiled up a lil

did you do a compression test or anything before you pulled the ENGINE ! Did it start back up after it died? What made you think the best course of action was to pull the engine?

Ahhhh! Well then, if you were going to rebuild anyway.... get a reman and send it to someone(pineapple, kdr, Gotham?{heard good things about Steve Kan}) Or do it yourself and feel the pride of building your own engine. Just check ALL the systems for proper operation before running the new engine.( oil pump{should be new on new engine, cooling system, etc...) Wasn't bashing ya. just curiouse as to the big move of yanking the guts out. I just did the same thing to a customers - the rebuild and porting. Haha! That comes later!! Talk to Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda for the reman engine 1-888-533-3400
