Question for all the Idle experts out there.

I just finished doing my vac hoses in silicon. Before I did it my car idled at 1100RPM. I know that is high so I just figured it was a vacuum leak and that the replacement project would fix it. Well now my car idles at 1600RPM and bounces a little. I have tried adjusting it using the screw on the front of the throttle body, it is t backed up all the way, but it no longer even touches the throttle at idle, and there is no change. I used propane to check for any vacuum leaks but found nothing. other then the idle the car seems to run perfect. Boost is 10-8-10. Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure you are jumping the TEN and GND pins in the diagnostic box when adjusting the idle. Also make sure that the car is fully warmed up and that the fast idle cam is fully disengaged.

Check here for more info on idle adjustment:

There are no error codes. Which hose are you saying might have blown off? There are no obvious hoses that have come off.
