Question about a specific mod.
I've heard about a modification that allows your engine bay to run cooler while driving and all it requires is two flex tubes, and some cutting tools.
Basically, you cut two holes in the engine cockpit fender sides; one on the passeger side the other on the driver side. After relocating certain wires, etc. you take the two tubes and you direct them to the fender outlets on both sides of the car. They say that this allows hot air to leave the engine compartment through the fender outlets while driving allowing the temp to stay cooler in the eingine bay.
Has anyone heard of this or has already completed this mod. Does it work?

If you are going to do that, why not just run the flex tubes to the nose of the car and allow it to blow cold air onto the engine.
Just get a vented hood, that's what they are used for.
