Question about Crank Angle Sens.

I was working on my car and realised my crank angle sensor was broken..it was a solid peice but broken in half...So i just ordered the part (used) and its a slightly diffrent design its a two peice instead of the solid peice i had....looks like its stock but im not sure...are there diffrences in the designs between the years? ill post pics soon.
thanks.

By two piece, do you mean the sensor itself and a retaining ring that goes around both?

Well the broken set was a solid piece holding the two sensors and the retaining ring held it to the block. this new has the sensors separate and held together by the retaining ring(3).

All the crank angle sensors I have seen for the fd are two seperate pieces. They are held in place with a retaining bracket. Post pics.
