hey there

so i have a 1993 rx7 FDS3 , imported and i have noticed when im in 3rd gear between 2.5-3 000 rpm when you try to excellerate the car chugs and sputters like if you were to stall it from a starting point in first .

as soon as you shift to forth or take your foot off the gas it stops , and it just does it in 3rd between 2.5 and 3 rpm , could it be a fuel cut , my fuel filter or something else ?

any advice or help would be awesome , thanks

 

Sounds like the 3k hesitation assuming you still have the stock ECU. There really isn't a fix that I know of (if thats what it is). If you know someone with an aftermarket ECU like Pettit trying plugging it in to see if it goes away. If it does, consider getting a PowerFC and getting it tuned.
