Question?

I was changing my vaccum hoses today and broke one of the soleniods. I was wounder if it would be fine to still use my car with a broken solenoids for a few days? The solenoid that I broke is the charge relief.

i broke a few aswell while changing my hoses. i did not start my car with the broken solenoid. but i guess you could start it. obviously, it will not function properly. i wouldnt run it hard with the broken solenoid though.

if i am not mistaken, the charge relief solenoid assists in the working of the turbos (someone correct me). so if you drive it so the turbos are not engaged, it should work properly.

Do not operate the car without the CRV functioning properly. Depending on how it works it may not allow you any boost, or (even worse) not relieve the boost (read blown engine).
