Question

I was driving my car and my brother was following me. When i started to push the car my brother told me that black smoke shot out off the exhaust tail pipe. what does this mean? Thanks

Was it a constant stream? Just a puff? What are your mods? Mileage?

it was just a puff. mods are intake and catback. the car has 25000 miles on it.

Probably not a big deal. The stock ECU is set a little rich from the factory for safety.

If I haven't gotten on it hard for a while, mine will do that when I floor it. It has done it since it was new. It's mostly just blowing out carbon deposits in the exhaust system.
