Q regarding RX7store secondary fuel system kit and regulator mounting

ok, i have a customer who supplied me with the RX7store secondary fuel rail with 1600CC injectors and resistors. now the question is regarding the resistors supplied in this kit.. the primary fuel injectors are standard high impedence(13.6 ohms) while the injectors supplied with the kit are low impedence(3.6 ohms) and the resistors supplied in this kit are (2) 3.0 ohm resistors so something doesn't add up to me, this kit did not have installation instructions and RX7store is closed for the evening and i would just like some clarification from people who have installed and used this kit. now why does this not have the standard 10ohm resistors to keep the ECU in line with the resistance it needs to see? are these resistors correct for the application to keep the ECU from going nuts when not seeing the proper resistance at the injectors? this car is running a PFC for reference.

also this kit came with a SARD fuel pressure regulator with 2 90* AN fittings and i am trying to find a good spot near the firewall to mount this thing, anyone have any pictures or describe a good location to mount this near the brake booster or on the firewall? second question is about the vacuum source, this car has no solenoid rack any longer so i am trying to figure out which nipple would be best to feed vacuum/boost to the FPR, i was thinking one of the vacuum sources behind the UIM post throttle plates but i haven't really checked these to see if they are in fact post throttle plate ports so any input on this one also would be helpful, thanks.

thanks for the links, helps somewhat but i was hoping to find a spot closer to the engine than on the other side of the brake booster or rear of the engine but i know there is limited space in that location.

the second link uses 10ohm resistors like i am used to dealing with so still confused as to the correct resistors to use for the setup:

"2. 4 x 10 ohm, 10 watt resistors (Radio Shack Part # 271-132) (approx Cost $5)"

Karack, I think you'll find this thread helpful re: the correct resistors, look at Post #6 and Post #10:

perfect! thanks for the info.

i am going to put the lean on him to switch his EMS though, i would hate to put all this time in and have an injector driver fail on the PFC and cause premature engine failure. i know it is hard to seam 550/1600 perfectly but with a more capable EMS it just makes it easier to do without putting the load on the ECU to bridge the gap.

will work temporarily but i am not fond of the PFC though it works and works well enough i just am not a lover of the way its block sequencing is setup or the interfacing with the datalogit. i just have a hard time with it on anything over 350WHP and this engine is going to be pushing mid 500's more than likely.

as for the FPR i am probably going to mount it on the front of the UIM but still preferring somewhere not on the engine so still open to suggestions on that one.

and 550 primaries are rather small for this setup as well but the aim right now is the get the engine broken in and the setup squared away.
