You need an aftermarket amplifier because the stock ignitor apparently isn't enough for them:

hasnt there been threads where where people testify that stock fd coils are good up to or past 550hp? how much hp are you going for anyways? unless yours are broken, i dont see why you would wanna go thru the trouble

From what i have read is that alot of people get high rpm break up from 360 rwhp and up with stock coils but when using fc coils it was better. I have a twin power if i need it. My car will be putting about 355-360 rwhp at 14psi.
