Put starter wires on backwards, battery arc'd, now have no power... fuses still good!

ALright, I've come to believe that the stock alarm is keeping my car from running. This is just an assumption, but from a previous thread I was told that my stock alarm will kill my starter.

In order to get the car to start I need to wire teh ignition to the starter and get the alarm out of the way, so I need to trace the wires.

Well, before I wired the starter backwards I had power to a few things. Headlights, Windows, Gauges. I then re-wired it (backwards) and I got no power, and the battery arc'd when I connected the terminal. Then I re-wired it back (to the correct way) and now I have no power to anything.

None of the fuses look blown, I looked in the main breaker box, and under the steering wheel. Now what could be causing this? Assuming that power went through the wrong way, a fuse would blow... but where?

Also, I need to locate the stock alarm system to wire the ignition straight to it, where is this stock alarm box? I'd like to restore some power to the car first, any idea where to start?

Let me know ASAP,
Thanx,
-Darren-

Did you check the battery to make sure you didn't fry it?

It wasn't that strong of an arc, it was quite small... you think it would have drained it that quick though?
