Put on new twins, but still smokes

I put on used twins that appeared to be in good condition. They had 40,000 miles on them and only a little side to side play on the compressors. At start up I get the usual steam from condensation, but once I apply throttle blue smoke pours out the back.

So what is the problem? Bad turbos? Are my oil control rings going bad? I need to do a compression check, but are there any other things I should check?

give it some time to clear all the crap from the previous turbo. Maybe install a catch can to eliminate the possibility of blow by. then go from there.

A few suggestions:

* Check your PCV. Make sure it's able to release pressure from the oil system
* Do you have a catalytic converter installed? if so, see if you can borrow someone's cat or midpipe as a test. Remove yours and put on another one to see if you still have the smoke. It's possible you have oil or or some other residue in your cat which will take a while to burn off. As a test, you could simply remove yours, but it's going to be loud as heck, but it would be good test.

I just replaced the Purge Control Valve solenoid and metal check valve about a month ago.

Did you mean the Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve? If so it is next on my list to eliminate.

I will let it idle for a good 15-20 mins and see if it clears up. When it was running earlier it backfired and stalled. Hopefully everything is all right. I haven't tried starting it again.

When I had PCV issues(positive crankcase) it would smoke once you let off of throttle but not under boost. I deleted and the car didnt smoke after that.

what do you mean you deleted? I got the same problem and changed the pcv valve but still smoking until operating temp.
suggestions?
btw it's not coolant seals, oil seals, bad turbos, bad vaccum hoses, or clogged cat.

cap it from the TB and hook up a catch can on the oil filler neck. later FDs didn't have even have a PCV.
