purge control solenoid part number
My Purge solenoid has bit the dust, but I'm confused about the part number. In the parts index, it lists "duty solenoid" # N3A1-20-285 but going to the diagram in the shop manual (page 1-N 3) it shows the two solenoids that rest just under the UIM. Also, these solenoids have a bracket with a hole at the side and the purge solenoid has the threaded stud on the opposite side to the nipples so I don't think they're the same? (I'm also hoping it's not the same part cos mazdatrix lists this little thing as $160! .... Jaysus....)

The purge control solenoid is not part of a pair. The "paired" solenoids under the UIM are the Pre Control/Wastegate control solenoids.
Just post an ad in the Classifieds asking for one. I doubt you'll have to pay more than $30.
