ps/ac idle pulley long bolt size

Anyone know the size of the threads on the end of the bolt? Looks like the larger one at the top half is m10x1.25 but the smaller end I cannot get a m8x1.25 to fit.

I tried to remove the bolt from the other portion to nickel plate them and because it has reverse threads I couldn't back it out enough. Ended up cutting it in half.
