I just thought I might add, Fiberglass would definitely NOT be my choice of materials to use for this type of project.

It sure is great to know there are some novice engineers (or should I say Profiteers?) that are ready to selll anything to anybody in the name of performance.

I guess Trex, this guy, is smarter than the Mazda engineers..........with their wind tunnels and cad cam stuff - even in 1990. Jeez, Mr. Chin, you really should check this out!

Tested to 150 mph? In your dreams.

If ANY of you guys buy this **** you
deserved to be raped!

HAHAHAHA! Talk about "cobbled"! Best laugh I've had in months!!!
Interesting, for someone who says he does not personal attack anyone. What would you consider these phrases, "a piece of ****", "novice engineer", "this ****".
You picked out a couple of typos, wow, you the man! This is an internet forum, does anyone proof reads everything they type (like this hasn't been brought up before).
I called you an idiot because in each of your post you ridiculed and attacked my work with questions that have been already answered in the original post. Even others have picked that up and posted in response. Only an idiot would shoot their mouths off without any background knowledge. The reference was directed at your immature actions, not you. During all this time did I attack your profession or any of your accomplishments?
Most everyone else have posted constructive criticism and suggestions, or questions when they weren't clear on certain points. I welcome any of these comments, that's how ideas get better.
It is ironic that you are in the aviation industry. It would seem to me that you belong to the group of expert engineers that laughed at the first idea of flight.
By jumping in and attacking my profession and idea without even understanding it is, I contend, sir, that you are still an idiot.

p.s. I'm sure you'll find some more typos.

I don't disagree with you. Plastics would be more resistant to diff types of impacts. I wish I had access to that type of material, but alas, I don't.

the stockers are ******* expensive! and my original one wouldn't have gotten so chewed up if I had attached it properly to my aftermarket front end. I think these material would do just fine.

Ok, I have been chastised and I am a big enough man to say I am truly sorry for hurting Trex's feelings. Really.

I'm going to make 3 and ship them out at half price as betas. The only stipulation is for anyone getting them to report back the good the bad and the ugly. And I also want to find out just how likely it is prone to breaking under different driving conditions. Because up to this point it has not sustained any damage on my car after 3 months.
I am tired of people trying to force their opinions (without any backup) on others by telling them certain bad things will happen, when I am the only person who has actual experience with it. I want to collect actual data from other people who use it, so I can compile all the statistics on it, and it will be irrefutable.
For those who believe my test results and have the need for a belly pan, this is a good chance to jump on it. Again, there will be only 3 betas available.
