can anyone show me a properly sealed passenger duct ?
I bought a duct off of a forum members but it didn't come with the top rubber piece . I'm in the process of install the R1 duals (on the floor ) want to make sure it's all nice and dandy before I do so
how should I go about getting that piece ? or should I just go to home depot and see what I can grab and make one out of some rubber

I used black 1/8 high density foam. You can get it in 1 sq/ft sheets for about a $1. Or duct tape will work fine. I just needs to be semi flexible to fit around the bumper.
from the factory it's a thick rubber-like piece that's riveted in those holes you see and covers the space. I'd get something similar and try to rivet it in those holes (since they're already there for you) and then use gorilla tape or aluminum tape to seal it up.

If you look at my dual r1 set up you'll see I installed a -10an line and fished it threw works good
I used aircraft silicone baffle seal material and cut it to shape and pop-riveted it back into place just the same way the OEM rubber was. It is pretty pricey (as is everything in aviation) and I wouldn't have used it if I didn't have some left over scraps from a job. You can get silicone mats and what not on eBay that should be able to do the job too though.
Check my build thread. I re did those on mine prior to install. It's cheap to fix. I think I got the rubber matting from Oreilly for like $6 and $20 pop rivet gun from them. Grab some appropriate sized washers for the back side, cut to fit, then rivet on. I should have the part number in my thread too from oreilly.

The NEVER include it! grrr.
One thing to look out for when installing is clearance for the radiator. I have a 3pass radiator and a swaybar brace that both kinda got in the way of the oil cooler hard lines. I made everything work, but it was not the easiest install.
