The V mount is custom made. It uses an apex GTR core and a modified Koyo radiator. I still haven't started the car up yet. I have a few more things to do. I'll keep you guys posted after I get back from D1 in Cali.

That is awesome! I love the paint. I am considering doing an intercooler much like that which you have built, and altering the mounting on my koyo radiator to fit with it. I like the other v-mount kits, but they are too expensive for what you get, in my opinion. What size core did you use?(there are two GTR size cores if I recall correctly). Well done. I just love the white over the gunmetal, with the gold on the motor and brakes, it just comes together very, very well. Josh

Clean work, I have one question. Who foot the bill?
Ok three questions. I'm also curious as to who did all the work? I can't image that you did it all by yourself.
Also what happens come time for emmsisons testing and you can't mount up the airpump? Does Hawaii not have emmisions regulations to abide by?
I like the idea of shaving the bracket down but i can't convientley do that here in Maryland.

Talljosh85 - I am using the Apex C2 core for the V mount, with custom endtanks. If you can get ahold of the T23 endtanks they will work perfectly for the v mount. Unfortunately, Apex USA & Japan are out of stock right now. If you need help with the v mount pm me.

RX187 & Fd3BOOSt - I had help from 2 people (HyperRex & Alfie) who burned the midnight oil with me. Also 2 former employees of HyperSports who works for Apexi USA, who designed the V mount. Thanks Guys!

Fd3BOOST - I had to sell some toys to build the FD(GSXR1000 & Yamaha R1).

Well its about 24 hours before I arrive in Cali for some D1 action! (Can't wait to see the D1 Apex FD3s!)

Thanks for the info and offer of help. I live a bit east of LA (well, Irwindale) myself, and I'm thinking about heading out to D1 GP on sunday. Unfortunately, my car is out for a few days until the fan assembly for it arrives. If I go, I'll see if I can *borrow* my dad's digital camera to get some pictures as well. I just need to turn the resolution down so I can post them. Maybe I'll see you there, if not, have a great time. Josh

Don't turn the resolution down. Just resize the pics later with photoshop. They will have better quality...

I don't have photoshop. Its kinda expensive, so maybe I can do it with iPhoto, or scam a copy of photo shop with the serial number from one of my buddies. That is, of course, if I can get his (my father) digital camera. If I can go, I will at least take some traditional photos on my EOS Rebel, and try to scan them with a good scanner. Josh
