Programmable digital 0-5v displays?
One day after looking at my profec b II, I thought it would be nice to have a programmable digital gauge display, and wondered if anyone has run across anything like that. My greddy e-01 had a 0-5 volt user programmable input that I used for AFR's. Basically you hook a 0-5 source, then give the unit the paramaters for 0 and 5 volts. For afr's I used 9 and 18 and named it A/F.
For all the small size and amount of information that boost controllers and piggy back controllers can display, it seems there should be a low cost sorta generic display that is either programmable via usb/serial, or has a small user interface similar to the e-01 I had.
I would like a small preferably square/rectangle dual digital display setup for boost and afr. Being able to change the inputs to whatever I want would be nice too.
The following site has the general idea of what I'm referring to, except none are programmable and the dual setups are for egt's only. http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idcategory=44
If you look at the square gauges on the site (2 of them in pics below)they all look basically the same, but some are for boost pressure, some are for AFR's, some fuel pressure, some nitrous pressure etc. I'm thinking these gauges must all be the same just programmed differently.
Here's another product I found interesting. http://www.maperformance.com/zeitron...y-package.html
It's a wideband controller that displays AFR's, Boost, and EGT. This particular one can use both a 3.5 and 5 bar map sensor which means it has separate programming depending on the one you chose.
Our map sensors are based on 5 volts and using the PFC and a boost gauge it would be easy enough to log it, to get an idea of the correct 0v/5v numbers. Same thing for AFR's, even things like fuel pressure could be logged with a 0-5v sender.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any further info in this area?

I use alot of the Redlion Cub5 series at work, they are nice programmable rectangular displayed meters and they they are available in voltage, current, and thermocouple (even more styles are available) plus the rs232 add in cards are only like thirty bucks. Here is a link http://www.redlion.net/Products/Digi...lies/CUB5.html
