Profect B Spec II 95FD

I have been told the 95FD's have no pill in the wastegate line. If this is true, what part of the turbo assembly is restriction built in? and do you have to drill it out in order for the Profect B to work properly.

Thanks Much

As far as I know, all S6(92-95) and S7(96-98) FDs have restriction pills in those vacuum lines. Only S8 99+ FDs have restriction built in nipples for those lines (wastegate and turbo precontrol) and the lines do not have any restriction pills inside.

I think it's hit or miss. My '95 had pills in the vacuum lines, but I've heard of some having the restrictions in the nipples.

if you have the restriction built into the nipple, then yes I believe you'll have to drill them out.

run a search on the profec B spec II....i've made some posts and others have as well about a little quirk that it has. It seems to default to the lo boost setting when you start the car.....you get out of it by cycling the boost controller power on and off, or by just toggling the Hi/Lo button.

I've heard some say that this is only an issue when you have the pressure displayed as PSI and not KPa.
