Profec B spec 2 question (install question)
Long story short I let a friend work on my car, he wired something wrong and ended up wiring the EBC backwards. It made a few noises... I tried wiring it directly to the battery with everything else plugged in, and it wont turn on.
So did he burn it up and waste $300 of my money or is something else amiss?

Justin.
I did not wire your BC backwards. If I did, it would not work.
If there are two wires coming out of a 12V device, and those two wires are wired correctly, like they were, there is no way it can fry unless there is an internal defect.
If you're refering to the fact that I wired it to the constant power instead of the ignition power source, I already told you that I did that because your ignition power source was dead. There is no difference in the power something receives from that and the power it receives from the ignition source, it's all 12V.
I promise you I didn't break your BC.

Justin, I've consulted with my friend who is an actuall certified expert on these things.
He assures me that everything I did and the way I had the unit wired could not have possibly made it fry. There had to be an internal defect in the unit.
