Problems with 1st and 2nd gear boost

So I finally am able to drive my FC 13b-REW which has a Haltech and non-sequential twins. I was taking it out for a drive to tune the fueling a bit, but when I hit the throttle hard in 1st and 2nd gear, it shutters and jerks forward, but the car isn't even above 2psi of boost and the wideband is reading around 11.5. But as soon as I get into 3rd, I can get my 8psi or so smoothly. Is this an indicator of a boost leak?

Any opinions? Is this more suited for the Haltech section?

Haltech section most likely. It could definitely be a tuning or sensor issue.

Try pressure testing for boost leaks though. http://www.fighters-garage.com/rx7.html scroll to very bottom

Hm, I suppose I could rig something like that up. I wasn't sure about testing it because in 3rd gear I get 8psi.
I may search for a new map to play with, but this one seems decent. I also posted the question in the Haltech section.
Thanks!

If you can reach 8 psi in 3rd gear, that indicates you do not have a boost leak.
