Problem fixed...clogged cat was problem
just to let everyone know...if your having boost problems after you have a hose job done...have your main cat checked. Just had a Hi- flow cat installed and WOW!!! HUGE DIFFERENCE...Can't wait to find that Damned Supra that's been giving me a hell of a time... I was beating my head against the wall trying to figure my problem out, but as always, the tread came through. This forum is AWESOME!!! THANKS TO ALL WHO SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THESE AWESOME MACHINES!!!

Low boost patten and overall sluggish response. Shifting from 1st to 2nd at WOT, I would get 0 boost. After waiting a few seconds for the RPM's to drop back down, I would get back on the throttle and I would then have boost. Now I have boost at all levels.

I remember on my firebird I crushed the cat internals once. WOT to 3k rpm then it felt like I hit a rev limiter, the engine would stop and even if the accelerator was on the floor it would feel like you weren't even touching it. Sucked.. why I swerve for rocks now )
