Unhappy Problem with fd fuel tank

Everytime i try to get gas I have to hold the nozzle in with all my wieght and most time it will spit the gas all over place. I end up
getting a little gas in my tank and a lot on the ground. It says tank is empty and the low fuel warning light comes. Then it will only let me put a little bit in like 1/4 tank.
COuld somthing
be blocking it?

Is it saying its empty when it really full? It's
getting really embarissing spilling gas all over the place everyday.
not to mention expensive. Any ideas?

How many miles do you get out of each tank of gas?

The FD has a 20.1 Gallon gas tank. How many gallons can you put in each time?

Either the tank isn't venting or your level sender is wrong. Pull the cover to the pump and look inside to see how much gas is in the tank.

I agree with AM, but use a flash light when you check the level, not a lighter, and for god's sake if you smoke, don't smoke while doing this!
